Welcome back to Taste Test, the feature where we eat things and then talk about why we hate the things we just ate. For this installment, we ate a few Canadian special-edition Lay’s potato chips, which were terrible, and some caramel apple Oreos, which were awful. But even gross snacks are a delight when you’re in the company of comedian Dave Hill—unless Dave Hill is the one who made the snacks, which would be awkward for all involved. Luckily, the charming and funny host of WFMU’s The Goddamn Dave Hill Show did not cook these edibles himself; they were created by marketing executives in faceless corporations. Thus Hill was free to join us in our consternation at—and mockery of—these misbegotten taste sensations.
