The versions I’ve had have been less gloopy and excessive. Imagine the typical thin deli sandwich packaged in clear plastic, cut into two triangular halves. Imagine it’s on squishy white bread, with only a single piece of ham or bologna, but with a little bit of extra filling between the halves and some orange mayonnai…
It is definitely two halves of a sandwich that are sandwiching pork floss between them (meta!), then the whole thing glued together by one end being dipped in some weird orange eggy goop. It’s way tastier than that sounds though :)

I can honestly say I can name my top 3 songs about chopped cheese sandwiches, never mind food as a whole.
Maybe my favorite sandwich song though is Sandwiches de Miga by Argentine psych rock great Pappo’s Blues.
Sure you can get it anywhere, but food with a name and a story tastes better. Scientific fact.

This is a great idea. Here’s a note: take a cue from the Beef on Weck and instead of spooning jus over the top bun, carefully dip the flat cut side of the bun into the hot jus, just enough for it to soak maybe a quarter inch in. tbh though I’d rather just have a combo in the requisite French roll, dipped and extra… Read more
