I’m in downstate IL, so the pizza of my youth is Monical’s, a smallish Midwest chain. Much like with music, we probably all love the pizza we ate when we were in high school. Monical’s is still my favorite, and it’s the crispiness of the crust, the really flavorful sauce, and not too much cheese that make it great. Read more

I’m not sure what the difference is between this and a regular bar pizza. I’ve seen square cut thin crust in PA for years.  My buddy’s dad owned a bar way back and for a while he actually had a professional bar pizza chef, goddamn was that some good thin crust.

Everyone is wrong and this is the correct “best childhood cereal ever”

It was quite good, and better than most licensed cereals of the time...but I’m old enough to remember Smurf Berry cereal, which was legit one of the best breakfast cereals of all time.
